Eagle Pass Lodge is a luxury, 15,000-square-foot facility with all the rustic charm of the prairie that surrounds it. Evident from the moment you step through the front door, the hunting lodge has been carefully constructed with one main goal in mind, relaxation.
Upon arrival at the lodge, you will be greeted by our concierge who will show you to your double occupancy room (private room upgrades available). After you have had time to settle in she will take you on a tour of our luxurious grounds and the lodge.
The indoor portion of the tour begins upstairs in the great room with its vaulted ceiling and numerous North American mounts. Here you can play pool, throw darts, watch TV or just sit and gaze out the large windows at the prairie-covered Ree Hills. You will invariably find deer and pheasants wandering the property from this vantage point. Just a few steps away are our movie theater with its 168-inch screen, HD projection equipment, and surround sound. There are 24 plush, leather recliners that will let you watch your favorite college football game or current release movie in comfort.
Downstairs you will be shown the fieldstone fireplace area, one of the highlights of the hunting lodge. This area is adjacent to the library for those intimate times when you want a quiet conversation or just read a book. You will also check out the large, dry sauna room and hot tub room. We have Sirius music piped to all areas of the lodge including the patios. The main room has several areas for playing cards and socializing. We also have a pro shop stocked with Eagle Pass Lodge hunting apparel.
The outdoor portion of the tour will lead you to the large, heated sunset patio with its granite fire pit table. A great place for after-dinner cigars. This lies adjacent to our par three golf holes with manicured bent grass greens. Just around the corner is our championship size tennis court that may also be used for basketball. We have rackets and balls for you to use. If you want to warm up before or after the guided pheasant hunt, we have a five-stand sporting clay course for you to use. There is a wobble thrower and two other throwers that will show you any kind of shot you will encounter in the field. Before returning to the lodge, you will be shown our scenic bass pond, stocked with feisty largemouth and smallmouth bass. Castaway or just sit and watch your bobber, your choice.
